Topical Treatments

o  Hydrocortisone ointment packets (approximately 1 gram each)

o  Antibiotic ointment packets (approximately 1 gram each)

o  Petroleum jelly or lubricant

o  Sterile eyewash, such as saline solution

o  Sunscreen

o  Alcohol

o  Hydrogen peroxide

Treatment Aids

o  1 breathing barrier (with one-way valve, to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation)

o  1 instant cold compress

o  1 Mylar blanket (space blanket)

o  2 pairs of nonlatex gloves (size large)

o  Cotton balls and cotton-tipped swabs

o  First aid instruction book

o  N95 respirator masks or surgical masks (1 package)

o  Hand sanitizer

o  Oral thermometer (not mercury, not glass; test regularly to make sure the batteries work)

o  Plastic bags for disposing of contaminated materials

o  Safety pins in assorted sizes

o  Scissors

o  Syringe, medicine cup, or spoon

o  Turkey baster or other bulb suction device for flushing out wounds
